Certified Renewable Electricity
  • From 2021-2022, we supported 36 renewable generators around the country by purchasing their REGO certificates.
  • The certificates have been sourced from generators including biomass and solar installations, helping to bring carbon-intensive energy sources off the grid whilst supporting smaller generators. Our electricity fuel mix is certified by the regulator Ofgem, as it is for all other suppliers.
Gas Supply Options
  • We can purchase Certified Emission Reduction (CER) certificates equivalent to the volume of gas we supply, which means that the gas you consume is carbon offset. Our CERs are certified by the UN under the Clean Development Mechanism, linked to the Kyoto Protocol. Certificates are produced by projects that reduce emissions in developing countries.
  • We also purchase green gas certificates for specific client needs, helping to support the UK’s biomethane industry and reducing waste. These certificates are verified by the Green Gas Certification Scheme.
